1. The optical pyrometer should always be stored in a special box to avoid dust intrusion and mechanical damage. If the optical pyrometer is full of dust, it can only be cleaned from the outside of the instrument, and the instrument should not be disassembled arbitrarily. When cleaning the lens, it should be cleaned. First use a soft brush to remove the dust, and then use a soft cloth or absorbent cotton slightly dipped in pure alcohol or ether to wipe. Be careful not to leave the cotton tip on the lens.

2. When measuring, avoid direct sunlight or strong light on the object to be measured, so as not to cause measurement errors.
3. The observer and the object to be measured should keep a certain distance to prevent molten steel or other hot objects from splashing on the objective lens during measurement, which may damage the instrument or cause personal accidents.
4. When the optical thermometer is not used for a long time, the dry battery in the handle of the altimeter should be taken out to prevent damage to the instrument.
5. Every six months, the meter should be re-checked on the special calibration equipment, and the correction value of the meter should be determined according to the verification results, which should be corrected during measurement.
