Even if the extrusion temperature is only slightly lower, the mold in the extruder may be worn faster, because the hardness of the metal will increase at this time, and greater force needs to be applied for extrusion. As the mold continues to wear, the physical size of the extrusion will change, and the cost of replacing a new mold is high. Therefore, the outlet temperature of the extruder must be continuously monitored as accurately as possible.
