Two-color pyrometers utilize infrared technology to quickly and easily measure the surface temperature of objects. Quickly measure temperature readings without mechanical contact with the object being measured. Just aim, press the trigger, and read the temperature data on the LCD screen.
The two-color pyrometer is light in weight, small in size, and easy to use. It reliably measures hot, dangerous or inaccessible objects without contaminating or damaging the object being measured. Several readings can be taken per second, whereas contact thermometers take several minutes per second.
Application of two-color pyrometer
In places where the measured temperature is high, the emissivity is difficult to determine, the target is too small to fill the field of view, and there are substances that attenuate radiant energy in the measurement line, the use of a two-color thermometer can solve the problem of accurate temperature measurement, while a single-color thermometer can solve the problem of accurate temperature measurement. It is difficult to solve the above problems.
Two-color pyrometers are widely used, especially in the steel industry, metal heat treatment, metal processing and casting.
In the following conditions, a two-color pyrometer is a good choice.
(1) Energy attenuation caused by dust, smoke and particles in the environment;
(2) The observation window and lens of the instrument are not clean;
(3) Partial occlusion or shielding of the device parts;
(4) The target is too small to fill the field of view of the instrument;
(5) The target is moving or vibrating;
(6) Measure the bending, narrowing and blockage of the channel;
(7) Measurement of metallic liquid;
