The two-color pyrometer enables very fast data acquisition: standard version with response time of less than 1ms, high-speed design provides measurement results, depending on the model with 40 or 80µs output.
The two-color pyrometer can be switched to single-channel mode for use as a normal monochromatic radiation pyrometer.
The software representation of the measured temperature for both channels allows to detect whether the measurement is wavelength dependent and can be performed, or the emissivity slope needs to be set or the measurement is not possible.
Monitoring functions can detect the level of contamination of optics or viewing windows, identify disturbances in the beam path, and issue an alarm when needed.
The shutdown level defines the signal level at which the temperature measurement is turned off, in order to turn off the measurement when the signal is too weak. In general, the decay rate should be set higher than 10%. Please pay attention to the use of a two-color pyrometer.
Targets with the same emissivity at both wavelengths can be measured without setting the emissivity slope.
Emissivity changes must have the same effect on both channels (wavelengths). When measuring objects with different emissivities at the two wavelengths, such as bare, unoxidized metal surfaces, the emissivity ratio must be set for accurate temperature measurements.
