The human body infrared thermometer is a photoelectric instrument that measures the infrared radiation of the measured object (the surface of the human body, the ear cavity, etc.) through a detector, and after appropriate correction, outputs the photoelectric instrument that displays the temperature of a certain part of the body. It is mainly divided into three types: infrared forehead thermometer, infrared ear thermometer, and infrared screening instrument. As an important medical instrument, human infrared thermometers play a key role in epidemic prevention and control.

01.The human body infrared thermometer is a medical instrument and needs to be calibrated before use. At present, my country's existing technical specifications such as JJF1107 "Calibration Specification for Infrared Thermometers for Measuring Human Body Temperature" are used as the basis for measurement and testing of human infrared thermometers. After the measurement calibration is corrected, the measurement data is more accurate. If the calibration finds that the data of the measuring instrument is too large, the measurement repeatability is poor, and the performance is unstable, it is recommended to stop.

02.There are many types of human infrared thermometers, and there are certain differences in their design ideas, operating habits, and internal settings. Therefore, when using the human infrared thermometer, you should read the product manual carefully and be familiar with the basic functions of the instrument, which is conducive to the scientific and correct use of the measuring instrument.

03.The recommended ambient temperature given in most product manuals is (16~35)℃, and some manufacturers’ internal test data ambient temperature is (10~40)℃. In the outdoor environment where the ambient temperature is lower than 10℃, few manufacturers perform A large number of samples are tested. Therefore, when the ambient temperature is lower than 16°C, and there is strong convection and large temperature fluctuations, the data deviation of the human body thermometer will be large. From the principle of measurement, it is a normal phenomenon.
When measuring the human body temperature outdoors, it is recommended to measure it in a place where there is no strong convection, no strong radiation, non-high humidity, relatively constant temperature, and can be higher than 10℃. At the same time, it should be ensured that the thermometer is working under stable environmental conditions for a long time.

04.When following the specific attention to the details proposed in each product manual. Here we propose the basic operating specifications for using the thermometer: When measuring body temperature, please aim the measuring instrument (forehead thermometer) at the exact center of your forehead (above the center of your eyebrows and keep it vertical), and the measuring part should not be covered by hair, sweat, hats, etc. Please make sure that the measuring distance is (1~3) cm. Keep the same operating specifications, repeat the measurement twice within 1 minute, and the difference between the two measurement data is within 0.3 ℃, then the data can be accepted, otherwise you need to check and measure again.

05.The measured object of the human body infrared thermometer is the part of the human body targeted during the measurement. From the principle of measurement, especially for forehead thermometers, the environment where the measurement site is located will have a greater impact on the measurement results. For example, the temperature of the human body in the car is measured at a highway intersection. Due to the large temperature of the air-conditioning in the car and the large difference from the outdoor temperature, the temperature of the measured object will be too high. The personnel in the car and the measuring instrument should be at the same ambient temperature and in a thermal equilibrium state. The measurement data can only be credible when the measurement is performed under the high-speed intersection, when waiting in line for temperature measurement, it is recommended that the people in the car should drive the window in advance to ventilate, and the human body and the outside environment should be in thermal balance before measuring.
